He has been getting blown up in recent months. I had never been to the store, despite driving past it once a week. I finally stopped in this weekend. The store is an amazing treasure trove of fantastic vintage clothing as well as Mister Freedom's own line. If you are into military/work wear don't hesitate, go the the shop!

So this is a similar hat to the one worn by WWII aviators. Apparently a lot of the early bikers were pilots and bomber crews who missed the excitement of piloting great machinery. So it makes sense that they would still wear their pilot hats.
Should I make one? Would anyone buy a hat like this?

Some Thoughts

So this blog is about pictures, specifically pictures of people looking good in hats. I wanted to write a little post about the blogs and shops. There are many great blogs out there, they often blog about items and then have a link to a store where you can buy that item. This is a great service, especially if you live somewhere that doesn't have a good men's shop. I encourage anyone out there to first, before you go online, to search out a good men's store in your area and try there first. Even if they don't have that exact piece blogged about by your favorite blogger, perhaps they have something similar or even something that you didn't know you wanted.
I say this because I have been traveling a lot lately. When I am visiting stores I hear a lot of buyers/owners of small shops talking about how bad business is. These are great stores with nice LOCAL owners who are trying to serve the community. They need your patronage. Once they get to know you and you start shopping at these stores he buyers will get specific merchandise just for you. Also they usually do a good job of buying things that work in the particular climate.
Shop local if you can!
