Fun

These folks are having a good time! Check the guy in the back with the plaid jacket!

Robert Johnson

This guy came from a sharecropping family and look at him now. Nowadays, the rich people look like sharecroppers. Whatever happened to style and dressing up?

Lightnin Hopkins again

Let see: Bad ass shades, sweet hat, older and even badder.

Sweet hat, check.

Another Horst with Hats

Not sure about "cool"

This is the law. But as a proud American from the sticks, I always root for Bonnie and Clyde/John Dillinger.
They still look ready to take care of some m%&^@$ing business.

I think this is becoming the "cool" people who wear hats. Plus occasional half naked girls in hats just for fun blog.

Machine Gun Kelly

Another Famous Writer

Love the style! I guess anyone who is famous for his balls has to be stylish.

Jim Carroll

So as I have mentioned, I am from Oklahoma. Being from the sticks, I have always been fascinated by William Burroughs, Hubert Selby Jr., Jack Kerouac, etc. junkie/ex-junkie NYC style writers. Among these Jim Carroll was a favorite. I also had his 1st record which I played VERY loudly on constant repeat for most of my formative years. Ironically, last week I watched Basketball Diaries with my GF. I told her all about Mr. Carroll and his books and poetry. That was a special time in this country when a great writer could become famous because of his/her writing. It kind of reminds me of Damon Dash's recent passing. Always sad when a great artist leaves us. Who remains? The less adventurous? As I like to say, where is our Bob Dylan?

R.I.P Jim Carroll

Native American

If you are a hat wearer, and I hope you are, this is the way to go. Although if you are leaving the house in a major city you may want to put the six shooter away before you go.

Capsule Show

So I was just in Sunny Las Vegas doing the Capsule show. It was a great show. I've done many a trade show over the years and I have to give it up to Chris and his team. They did a great job. I also want to give a shout out to all of the vendors who participated. All of whom had great product and were very nice. I met lots of bloggers who were great to talk to and were also very cool. I look forward to the next one.

My Uncles Knife

So I found this on Ebay as I was curious about the knife my Uncle gave me. He served with Distinction during Korea and Vietnam. I was given a knife exactly like the one on the left for my fourteenth birthday. I use it in a more peaceful way to open letters. It reminds me every day of the sacrifices of the men and women of the military. And how easy I have it compared to them. If you want this one:
